     Captain Gilbert Cecil Pelly was born on 26 July 1892.1 He was the son of Herbert Cecil Pelly and Mary Richenda Carter.2 He married Constance Margery Glazebrook, daughter of Frederic Edward de Tweenbrook Glazebrook, on 15 January 1921.1 He died on 23 February 1961 at age 68.1
     Captain Gilbert Cecil Pelly gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1
