     Madelene Kerr Scott was born in 1739.1 She was the daughter of Alexander Scott and Barbara Kerr.1
     
the youngest daughter who lived to a good age. she resided in George Square and was called by her friends Aunt Maddy. She called herself Miss Scott of Thirlestain.1

     Rebecca Agnes Kerr Scott-Kerr of Thirlestane was born in 1777.1 She was the daughter of William Kerr Scott-Kerr and Elizabeth Graeme.1 She died on 7 April 1796 at Edinburgh.1
     Nancy Rebecca as she was called died young.1

     Richard Scott was born in 1265.1 He married heiress of Inglis.1 He died in 1320.1
     In 1296 he swore fealty ot Edward I of England. He acquired the lands and Barony of Murdiestoun in Lanark by his marriage with the heiress of Inglis of Murdiestoun.1

     Michael Scott was born circa 1320.1 He was the son of Richard Scott and heiress of Inglis.1 He married unknown wife (?).1 He died on 17 October 1346.1
     
a gallant warrior who distinguished himself at Halidon Hill, 19 July 1330. Sir Michael accompanied David II to the unfortunate battle of Durham and fell in that engagement.1
