     Michael Lewes Dix Hamilton was born on 3 July 1910.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Stephen Hamilton Dix and Ida Mary Turpin.1 He married Mabel Evelyn Selina Mary Woodburn, daughter of Dr. William Young Woodburn and Lady Mabel Evelyn Selina Mary Foljambe.1 He died on 26 August 1981 at age 71.1
     Michael Lewes Dix Hamilton was baptised with the name of Michael Lewes Dix.1 He was a practising solicitor.1 On 1940 his name was legally changed to Michael Lewes Dix Hamilton by Deed Poll.1
