     Albrecht III Herzog von Sachsen-Ratzeburg was the son of Johann I Herzog von Sachsen-Lauenburg and Ingeborg von Smaland. He married Margarete von Brandenburg, daughter of Albrecht III Markgraf von Brandenburg and Mathilde Christofsdottir, Princess of Denmark, in 1302. He died in 1308.
     Albrecht III Herzog von Sachsen-Ratzeburg gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen-Ratzeburg.
