     Mabel Connellan was the daughter of Peter Connellan.2 She married George Gethin, son of Richard Gethin and Mary Crichton, on 5 October 1870.1 She died on 5 April 1934.1
     From 5 October 1870, her married name became Gethin.

Randolph George Gethin1

     Randolph George Gethin was born on 28 June 1871.1 He was the son of George Gethin and Mabel Connellan.2 He married Georgina Mary Power, daughter of Rev. Canon George Beresford Power, on 7 November 1911.1 He died on 21 June 1945 at age 73.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Inniskilling Fusiliers.1 He gained the rank of Captain and Honorary Major in the Special Reserve, South Irish Horse.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Waterford.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.1

     S/Ldr. John Percy Devayne Gethin was born in 1917.1 He was the son of Randolph George Gethin and Georgina Mary Power.2 He died on 10 May 1941, from wounds received in action.1,3
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.) in 1941.1

     Major Desmond Richard le Poer Gethin was born on 16 December 1919.1,2 He was the son of Randolph George Gethin and Georgina Mary Power.3 He married Susan Baines, daughter of Brigadier F. Talbot Baines, on 15 July 1950.1 He died in 1984.1
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Parachute Regiment and Royal Irish Fusiliers SR.1

     From 15 July 1950, her married name became Gethin. From 1988, her married name became Mead.1
