     Lt.-Col. Arthur E. Hodgins married Rose Mary Heathcote, daughter of Thomas Jenkyns Heathcote and Mary Catherine Moultrie, in 1897.1 He died in 1939.1
     He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was commander of the 1st Canadian Pioneer Battalion.1 He was Assistant Director of the Light Railways, 3rd Army.1

     Sir Christopher Sidney Smith, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 May 1798.2 He was the son of Sir William Smith, 1st Bt. and Mary Wheeler.2 He married Mary Foley, daughter of Reverend Robert Foley, on 30 December 1822.2 He married Harriette Lee, daughter of Thomas Lee, in December 1837.2 He died on 7 August 1839 at age 41.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Smith, of Eardiston, co. Worcester [U.K., 1809] in 1821.2
