     Dudley Hill was born circa 1754 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Edward Hill and Catherine Colclough.1 He married Lavinia Clarges, daughter of Colonel George Clarges and Lavinia St. Leger, on 16 August 1783 at St. Peter's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 He died on 1 October 1833 at Carlow, County Carlow, IrelandG.1,2
     He was a practising solicitor at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Carlow.1

     Lavinia Clarges was born circa 1760 at IrelandG.2 She was the daughter of Colonel George Clarges and Lavinia St. Leger.1 She married Dudley Hill, son of Edward Hill and Catherine Colclough, on 16 August 1783 at St. Peter's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 She died in September 1840 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 She was buried on 5 September 1840 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2
     From 16 August 1783, her married name became Hill.1

     Colonel George Clarges was born circa 1728 at Birr, County Offaly, Ireland.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Christopher Clarges and Isabella Wilkinson.2 He married Lavinia St. Leger, daughter of Sir John St. Leger and Lavina Pennefather, on 30 March 1756 at St. Anne's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He died in October 1780 at Chingford Hall, Essex, England.2 He was buried in October 1780 at Chingford, Essex, England.2
