     Vice-Admiral Wion de Malpas Egerton was born in 1879.1 He was the son of Field Marshal Sir Charles Comyn Egerton and Anna Wellwood Hill.2 He married Anita Adolphine David, daughter of Albert Rudolph David, on 2 September 1913.1 He died on 1 January 1943, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM George V in 1928.1 He was Commodore of Convoys of the Royal Naval Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Anita Adolphine David was the daughter of Albert Rudolph David.2 She married Vice-Admiral Wion de Malpas Egerton, son of Field Marshal Sir Charles Comyn Egerton and Anna Wellwood Hill, on 2 September 1913.1 She died in 1972.1
      From 2 September 1913, her married name became Egerton.

     Maj.-Gen. Sir David Boswell Egerton, 16th Bt. was born on 24 July 1914.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Wion de Malpas Egerton and Anita Adolphine David.2 He married Margaret Gillian Inge, daughter of Rev. Canon Charles Cuthbert Inge, on 10 April 1946.1 He died on 17 November 2010 at age 96.3
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1940.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1956.1 He was Major-General.1 He was Director-General of Artillery, Ministry of Defence between 1964 and 1967.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1968.1 He was Colonel Commandant of the Royal Artillery in 1975.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (F.I.Mech.E.).1 He lived in 2003 at Bosworth Retirement Home, 6 Southdown Ave, Preston, Dorset, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 16th Baronet Egerton, of Egerton and Oulton, co. Chester [E., 1617] on 19 February 2008.4

     She was registered as a Associate, Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M.).1 From 10 April 1946, her married name became Egerton.

     Sir William de Malpas Egerton, 17th Bt. was born on 27 April 1949.1 He is the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir David Boswell Egerton, 16th Bt. and Margaret Gillian Inge.2 He married Ruth Watson, daughter of Reverend George Watson, on 31 July 1971.1
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England.1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He lived in 2003 at Northdown Farmhouse, Sutton Road, Sutton Poyntz, Weymouth, Dorset, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 17th Baronet Egerton, of Egerton and Oulton, co. Chester [E., 1617] on 17 November 2010.3
