     Sir Frederic Harding Anson Hamilton of Silvertonhill, 7th Bt. was born on 24 September 1836.1 He was the son of Sir Robert North Collie Hamilton of Silvertonhill, 6th Bt. and Constantia Anson.2 He married Mary Jane Willan, daughter of H. Willan, on 28 September 1865.1 He died on 19 September 1919 at age 82.1
     He lived Silvertonhill.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 60th Royal Rifles.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Hamilton, of Silvertonhill [N.S., 1646] on 31 May 1887.1
