     Sir Jack Wolfred Ashford Harris, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 July 1906.1 He is the son of Sir Percy Alfred Harris, 1st Bt. and Marguerite Frieda Bloxham.2 He married Patricia Penman, daughter of Arthur P. Penman, on 16 September 1933.1
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He fought in the Second World War, with the New Zealand Forces.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Harris, of Bethnal Green, co. of London [U.K., 1932] on 28 June 1952.1 He was President of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce.1 He lived in 2003 at Flat 2602, Peninsula Tower, 37 Glen Street, Milson's Point, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1
