Thomas Charles Tasman Littleton, 7th Baron Hatherton was born on 6 October 1907.1 He was the son of Edward Charles Rowley Littleton, 4th Baron Hatherton and Hester Edithe Hoskins.2 He married Ann Scott McLeod, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Thomas McLeod, on 7 April 1933.1 He died in 1985.1
He was educated at Cranleigh School, Cranleigh, Surrey, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1953.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron Hatherton, of Hatherton, co. Stafford [U.K., 1835] on 27 June 1973.1

Ann Scott McLeod was the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Thomas McLeod.2 She married Thomas Charles Tasman Littleton, 7th Baron Hatherton, son of Edward Charles Rowley Littleton, 4th Baron Hatherton and Hester Edithe Hoskins, on 7 April 1933.1 She died in 1994.1
From 7 April 1933, her married name became Littleton. As a result of her marriage, Ann Scott McLeod was styled as Baroness Hatherton on 27 June 1973.
