     Arthur Cockburn Hawkins was born in 1852.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Annesley Hawkins and Isabel Sinclair.2 He married Agnes Carmichael, daughter of H. Carmichael, in 1883.1 He died on 2 February 1926.3 He was buried at St. Martin, Manitoba, Canada.3
