     Betty Louise Macdonald Hay was born on 11 January 1913.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Lewis John Erroll Hay of Park, 9th Bt. and Lizabel Annie Macdonald.¹ She died on 13 February 1984 at age 71.¹

     Sir Arthur Thomas Erroll Hay of Park, 10th Bt. was born on 13 April 1909.¹ He was the son of Sir Lewis John Erroll Hay of Park, 9th Bt. and Lizabel Annie Macdonald.¹ He married, firstly, Hertha Hedwig Paula Louise Stölzle, daughter of Ludwig Stölzle, on 4 March 1935.¹ He and Hertha Hedwig Paula Louise Stölzle were divorced in 1942.¹ He married, secondly, Rosemary Evelyn Anne Lambert, daughter of Vice-Admiral Audrey Lambert, on 22 December 1942.¹ He died on 3 February 1993 at age 83.¹
     He was educated at Fettes College, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Hay, of Park [N.S., 1663] on 14 May 1923.¹ He was registered as a Associate, Royal institute of British Architects (A.R.I.B.A.).¹ He was decorated with the award of the Imperial Service Order (I.S.O.) circa 1970.¹

     Frances Gorges was the daughter of Sir William Gorges.¹ She married Sir Thomas Hesilrige, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Hesilrige and Ursula Andrews.¹ She died in 1638.¹

     Sir Arthur Hesilrige, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Thomas Hesilrige, 1st Bt. and Frances Gorges.¹ He married, secondly, Dorothy Greville, daughter of Fulke Greville and Mary Copley.¹ He married, firstly, Frances Elmes, daughter of Thomas Elmes, in 1625.¹ He died on 7 January 1660/61 at Tower of London, The City, London, England.¹
     He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Hesilrige, of Noseley Hall, co. Leicester [E., 1622] on 11 January 1629.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire between 1640 and 1645.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire between 1654 and 1659.¹ He gained the rank of Commander and Colonel in the service of the Parliamentary Regiment of Cuirassiers.¹ He held the office of Governor of Newcastle.¹
