     He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Hill, of Bradford [U.K., 1917] on 17 January 1936.1

     He was educated at Wrekin College, Wellington, Shropshire, England.1 He was chairman of Sir James Hill and Son at Bradford, Yorkshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Hill, of Bradford [U.K., 1917] on 13 May 1946.1
