     Henry Maxwell was the son of General Sir William Maxwell of Calderwood, 7th Bt. and Isabella Wilson.¹ He died on 29 January 1853, unmarried.¹
     He lived at Leith, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Sir Hugh Bates Maxwell of Calderwood, 9th Bt. was born on 14 February 1797.¹ He was the son of General Sir William Maxwell of Calderwood, 7th Bt. and Isabella Wilson.¹ He married Mary Anne Barbara Hunter, daughter of John Hunter, on 1 May 1827.¹ He died on 9 February 1870 at age 72.¹
     He was a practising advocate.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Maxwell, of Calderwood [N.S., 1627] on 4 April 1865.¹

     Mary Anne Barbara Hunter was the daughter of John Hunter.¹ She married Sir Hugh Bates Maxwell of Calderwood, 9th Bt., son of General Sir William Maxwell of Calderwood, 7th Bt. and Isabella Wilson, on 1 May 1827.¹ She died on 18 July 1875.¹
     From 1 May 1827, her married name became Maxwell.¹

     John Hunter lived at Lisburn, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Sir William Maxwell of Calderwood, 10th Bt. was born on 11 August 1828.¹ He was the son of Sir Hugh Bates Maxwell of Calderwood, 9th Bt. and Mary Anne Barbara Hunter.¹ He married Jane Baird, daughter of Frank Baird, on 20 April 1880.¹ He died on 4 December 1885 at age 57, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Maxwell, of Calderwood [N.S., 1627] on 9 February 1870.¹

     Jane Baird was the daughter of Frank Baird.¹ She married, firstly, Sir William Maxwell of Calderwood, 10th Bt., son of Sir Hugh Bates Maxwell of Calderwood, 9th Bt. and Mary Anne Barbara Hunter, on 20 April 1880.¹ She married, secondly, George Leader Owen in 1887.¹ She died on 24 May 1942.¹
     From 20 April 1880, her married name became Maxwell.¹ From 1887, her married name became Owen.¹

     George Leader Owen married Jane Baird, daughter of Frank Baird, in 1887.¹ He died on 9 February 1905, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Withybush^G.¹

     Very Rev. Robert Maxwell is the son of Sir John Maxwell of Calderwood and Elizabeth Hamilton.¹ He married, firstly, Susan Armstrong.¹ He married, secondly, Isabel Seton.²
     He held the office of Dean of Armagh.¹

     Susan Armstrong married Very Rev. Robert Maxwell, son of Sir John Maxwell of Calderwood and Elizabeth Hamilton.¹
     Her married name became Maxwell.¹
