     David Charles Attlee was born in 1922.1 He was the son of Wilfred Henry Waller Attlee and Emily Bridget Maconochie.1 He married Hon. Rosemary Elton, daughter of Godfrey Elton, 1st Baron Elton and Dedi Hartmann, on 10 December 1955.2 He died on 29 December 2011.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, in the Irish Guards.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1

     Emily Jane Wodehouse was born on 7 May 1826.1 She was the daughter of Venerable Charles Wodehouse.2 She married William John Legh, 1st Baron Newton, son of William Legh and Mary Wilkinson, on 29 May 1856 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1 She died on 17 April 1901 at age 74 at Belgrave Square, London, England.1
      From 29 May 1856, her married name became Legh.1
