     Raoul I de Coucy, Sire de Coucy is the son of Enguerrand II de Coucy and Agnes de Baugency. He married, firstly, Agnes de Hainaut, daughter of Baldwin IV de Mons, Comte de Hainaut and Alice de Namur.1 He married Alice de Dreux, daughter of Robert I de France, Comte de Dreux and Agnes de Baudemont, Dame de Braine, circa 1174.
     He gained the title of Sire de Coucy.

     Agnes de Baugency is the daughter of Raoul I de Baugency, Sire de Baugency and Mathilde de Vermandois. She married Enguerrand II de Coucy, son of Thomas de Marle, Sire de Coucy and Milicent de Crecy, circa 1132.
      Her married name became de Coucy.

     Enguerrand II de Coucy was the son of Thomas de Marle, Sire de Coucy and Milicent de Crecy. He married Agnes de Baugency, daughter of Raoul I de Baugency, Sire de Baugency and Mathilde de Vermandois, circa 1132. He died after 1147.

     Alice de Dreux was born circa 1156/57. She was the daughter of Robert I de France, Comte de Dreux and Agnes de Baudemont, Dame de Braine. She married Raoul I de Coucy, Sire de Coucy, son of Enguerrand II de Coucy and Agnes de Baugency, circa 1174. She died after 1217.
     She was also known as Adelaide.
