Colonel Thomas Cecil Maunsell was born in 1727.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Maunsell and Anna Twigge.2 He married, firstly, Dorothy Brooke, daughter of Arthur Brooke, in 1756.1 He married, secondly, Anne Hill, daughter of George Hill, on 20 December 1781.1 He married, thirdly, Jane Wrather, daughter of Clement Wrather, in 1796.1 He died on 22 February 1815.1
He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Northamptonshire Militia.1 He lived at Thorpe Malsor, Northamptonshire, England.1
