     Sir Hugh Michael Seely, 1st and last Baron Sherwood was born on 2 October 1898.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Hilton Seely, 2nd Bt. and Hilda Lucy Grant.¹ He married, firstly, Hon. Molly Patricia Berry, daughter of Sir William Ewart Berry, 1st Viscount Camrose and Mary Agnes Corns, on 23 March 1942.¹ He and Hon. Molly Patricia Berry were divorced in 1948.¹ He married, secondly, Catherine Thornton on 16 March 1970.¹ He died on 1 April 1970 at age 71, without issue.¹

(Liberal) for East Norfolk between 1922 and 1924.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire in 1925.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire in 1926.² He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Seely, of Sherwood Lodge, Arnold, Nottinghamshire and Brooke House, Isle of Wight [U.K., 1896] on 26 February 1926.² He held the office of Assistant Whip (Liberal) in 1935.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Berwick-upon-Tweed between 1935 and 1941.² He held the office of Parliamentary Private Secretary in 1940, to the Secretary of State for Air.² He held the office of Joint Under Secretary of State for Air between 1941 and 1945.² He was created 1st Baron Sherwood, of Calverton, co. Nottingham [U.K.] on 14 August 1941.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Air Commodore in 1947 in the service of the Royal Air Force.²
     On his death, the Barony of Sherwood became extinct.¹

     William Francis Macauley was born on 30 September 1953.¹ He is the son of William Perine Macauley and Hon. Diana Phyllis Berry.² He married Nicola Jane Thompson, daughter of Eric D. Thompson, in 1992.¹

     Hon. Diana Phyllis Berry was born in 1924.¹ She was the daughter of Sir William Ewart Berry, 1st Viscount Camrose and Mary Agnes Corns. She married William Perine Macauley, son of Timothy Alfred Macauley, on 7 April 1948.¹ She died before March 1995.¹
     Hon. Diana Phyllis Berry was in the Women's Royal Naval Service WW II.¹ Her married name became Macauley.

     William Perine Macauley was the son of Timothy Alfred Macauley.² He married Hon. Diana Phyllis Berry, daughter of Sir William Ewart Berry, 1st Viscount Camrose and Mary Agnes Corns, on 7 April 1948.¹ He died in 1990.¹
     William Perine Macauley graduated with a M.H.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹

     Mary Rosalind Macauley was born on 30 September 1953.¹ She is the daughter of William Perine Macauley and Hon. Diana Phyllis Berry.² She married, firstly, Dominic Sasse on 13 May 1978.¹ She married, secondly, Jonathan Malcolm Heale, son of Anthony Vernon Glen Heale, on 3 January 1998.¹
     From 13 May 1978, her married name became Sasse. From 3 January 1998, her married name became Heale. She lived in 2003 at Aymestrey Court, Aymestrey, Herefordshire, England.¹

     Mark Justin Macauley was born on 10 April 1956.¹ He is the son of William Perine Macauley and Hon. Diana Phyllis Berry.²

     Isabel Tara Mary Macauley was born on 17 February 1949.² She is the daughter of William Perine Macauley and Hon. Diana Phyllis Berry.¹ She married, firstly, Desmond Gilroy, son of Dr. P. J. Gilroy, on 25 August 1972.² She and Desmond Gilroy were divorced.² She married, secondly, Samuel Thomas Morgan Williams, son of Charles Ivor Mervyn Williams and Gillian Mary McNair Scott, in 1983.²
     Isabel Tara Mary Macauley usually went by her middle name of Tara.² From 25 August 1972, her married name became Gilroy. From 1983, her married name became Williams. She lived in 2003 at 6 Dewhurst Road, London, England.²

     Virginia Margaret Diana Macauley was born on 1 November 1950.¹ She is the daughter of William Perine Macauley and Hon. Diana Phyllis Berry.² She married Hon. Alastair James Harold Hoyer Millar in 1974.¹
     From 1974, her married name became Millar.¹
