     Mary Frances Anne Lowndes was born circa 1871.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Henry Lowndes.2 She married Brig.-Gen. Henry Charles Westropp, son of Sir Michael Roberts Westropp and Elizabeth Anderson, on 8 November 1894.1 She died on 11 July 1972.1
     From 8 November 1894, her married name became Westropp.

     Lionel Henry Mountifort Westropp was born on 20 February 1896.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Henry Charles Westropp and Mary Frances Anne Lowndes.2 He married Muriel Constance Lilian Jorgenson, daughter of Captain Conrad Reginald Erik Jorgenson, on 23 September 1937.1 He died on 26 January 1991 at age 94 at Ashford, Kent, England.3
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was (an unknown value) at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, he was wounded twice.1 He was awarded the Order of the Star of Romania in 1921.1 He raised 8th Battalion, King's Own Royal Regiment, and commanded it during the advance to Brussels and retreat to Dunkirk, and the siege of Malta.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1948 in the Devonshire Regiment.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Devon between 1956 and 1960.1 He lived in 1976 at Berry House, Chilham, Kent, England.1

     Eric Mountifort Westropp was born on 30 March 1939.1 He is the son of Lionel Henry Mountifort Westropp and Muriel Constance Lilian Jorgenson.2,1 He married Mary Aylen, daughter of Rear-Admiral Ian Gerald Aylen, on 18 October 1963.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1 He was commissioned in 1958, in the service of the 11th Hussars (Prince Albert's Own).1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Hussars (Prince of Wales' Own).1 He gained the rank of Brigade Major between 1971 and 1973 at Hong Kong in the 51 Infantry Brigade.1 He lived in 1976 at The White House, Bloxworth, Dorset, England.1

     Maj.-Gen. Victor John Eric Westropp was born on 24 May 1897.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Henry Charles Westropp and Mary Frances Anne Lowndes.2 He married, firstly, Elenita Augusta Lynch, daughter of Jasper ffoulkes Lynch, in 1923.1 He married, secondly, Elspeth Mary Duncan, daughter of Lt.-Col. Horace Adrian Duncan, on 10 November 1944.1 He died on 8 June 1974 at age 77.1
     He was educated at Bradfield College, Bradfield, Reading, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.1 He was of the Royal Engineers in 1916.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1920 in the Royal Signals.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1943.1 He was awarded the Commander, Legion of Merit in 1944 U.S.1 He was Deputy Adjutant General, GHQ between 1944 and 1946.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1946.1 He was on the Military Security Board, Germany between 1947 and 1951.1 He retired from the military in 1951, with the rank of Major-General.1
