     Michael Seymour Dudley Westropp was born on 2 April 1868.1 He was the son of Hodder Michael Westropp and Jane Drought.2 He married Elizabeth Hyde Lanyon, daughter of John Lanyon, on 10 June 1902.1 He died on 24 December 1954 at age 86.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles.1 He was registered as a MRIA.1 He lived at 10 St. James Terrace, Clonskeagh, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1

     Elizabeth Hyde Lanyon was the daughter of John Lanyon.2 She married Michael Seymour Dudley Westropp, son of Hodder Michael Westropp and Jane Drought, on 10 June 1902.1 She died on 8 February 1956.1
     From 10 June 1902, her married name became Westropp.

     Reverend Ralph Michael Lanyon Westropp was born on 24 February 1907.1 He was the son of Michael Seymour Dudley Westropp and Elizabeth Hyde Lanyon.2 He married Rachel Marjorie Cropper, daughter of Major James Winstanley Cropper and Marjorie Constance Bagot, on 22 April 1937.1 He died in 1991 at Kendal, Westmorland, England.3
     He was educated at Sedbergh School, Sedbergh, Cumberland, EnglandG.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1929 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was with Toc H, NW area between 1929 and 1935.1 He was General Secretary, South Africa between 1935 and 1939.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Union Defence Force (South Africa), during the Second World War.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1942 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Curate between 1943 and 1946 at St. Johns, Greenhill, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He was ordained in 1944.1 He was the Vicar in 1946 at St. Andrew's, Sudbury, Wembly, London, England.1 He was the Vicar between 1952 and 1961 at Cookham, Berkshire, England.1 He was the Vicar between 1961 and 1970 at St. Marys, Windermere, Westmorland, England.1 He was the Vicar between 1970 and 1975 at Natland, Westmorland, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Rural Dean of Kendal between 1970 and 1975.1 He held the office of Canon of Carlisle in 1972.1 He lived in 1976 at Inglewood House, Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria, England.1
