     John Gillman was born on 1 March 1789.¹ He was the son of Webb Gillman and Catherine Crooke.² He died circa 16 March 1789.¹ He was buried on 18 March 1789.¹

     Herbert Gillman was baptised on 16 December 1791.¹ He was the son of Webb Gillman and Catherine Crooke.² He married, firstly, Esther Bennett, daughter of John Barter Bennett, on 5 May 1830.¹ He married, secondly, Sarah Honeywood Pollock Skottowe Parker, daughter of Richard Neville Parker, on 12 October 1847.³ He died on 2 December 1877 at age 85.³
     He lived at Clonteadmore, County Cork, Ireland.¹

     John Barter Bennett lived at Haremount, County Cork, Ireland.¹ He was a surgeon.¹

     Esther Bennett was the daughter of John Barter Bennett.² She married Herbert Gillman, son of Webb Gillman and Catherine Crooke, on 5 May 1830.¹ She died on 3 January 1842.¹
      From 5 May 1830, her married name became Gillman.
