     Godfrey Greene was born in 1806.1 He was the son of Major William Greene and Hon. Jane Massy.2 He died on 13 August 1857, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 48th Bengal Native Infantry.1 He lived at Rockview, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1

     Catherine Greene was the daughter of Major William Greene and Hon. Jane Massy.2 She married George Tuthill, son of Christopher Tuthill and Hon. Mary Anne Massy, on 31 December 1812.1 She died in August 1845.1
      From 31 December 1812, her married name became Tuthill.
