     Major William Greene was born on 17 January 1748.2 He was the son of John Greene and Frances Nicholson.3 He married Hon. Jane Massy, daughter of Hugh Massy, 2nd Baron Massy of Duntrileague and Catherine Taylor, in October 1789.1 He died on 3 June 1829 at age 81.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dungarvan between 1802 and 1806.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Honourable East India Company Service.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kilkenny in 1823.2 He lived at Jonesville, County Waterford, IrelandG.1 He lived at Fota, County Cork, IrelandG.1

     Hugh Hamon Massy, 4th Baron Massy of Duntrileague was born on 13 February 1793.2 He was the son of Hugh Massy, 3rd Baron Massy of Duntrileague and Margaret Everina Barton.2 He married Matilda White, daughter of Luke White and Elizabeth de la Mazière, on 22 June 1826.2 He died on 27 February 1836 at age 43.2
     He succeeded as the 4th Baron Massy of Duntrileague, co. Limerick [I., 1776] on 20 June 1812.1
