     Emily Augusta Seymour was born circa 1867. She was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Henry George Seymour and Sophia Margaret Hoste. She married Edward Lewis Birkbeck on 21 April 1891. She died on 14 June 1960.
     Her married name became Birkbeck.
