     Basil Owen Wright was born on 10 July 1909.1 He was the son of Francis Anthony Cedric Wright and Catharine Marriott Bosanquet.1 He married Joan Dunn Pennington, daughter of John Lewis Pennington, on 16 December 1946.1 He died on 8 May 1972 at age 62 at 19 Evans Avenue, Allerstree, Derbyshire, England.2
     He graduated from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, CanadaG, in 1930 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, CanadaG, in 1931 with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.1 He lived in 1952 at Prospect House, Kilburn, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1
