     John Ogilvy of Newbiggin was born after 1587.2 He was the son of James Ogilvy, 6th Lord Ogilvy of Airlie and Lady Jean Ruthven.1 He married Agnes Napier, daughter of Sir Archibald Napier of Edinbellie.1 He died on 22 November 1625 at Glenisla, Angus, ScotlandG.1
