     Colonel Philip Robert Broadway is the son of Ernest Broadway.2 He married Phyllis Kathleen Fitzgerald, daughter of Desmond Fitzgerald and Kathleen Helen Bicknell, on 3 January 1935.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 5th Gurkha Rifles.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Indian Army Service Corps.2 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).1 He lived in 1976 at Woodstock, 86 Village Road, Bromham, Bedfordshire, England.2
