     Commander Henry Duncan Simonds was born on 27 July 1886.1,2 He was the son of Louis de Luze Simonds and Mary Elizabeth Turnbull.1 He married Mary Zillah Ramsden on 18 October 1927 at St. Mark, Audley Strret, Westminster, London, England.1,2 He died on 25 April 1948 at age 61 at Eversley, Hampshire, England.1,3
     On 1 January 1915 he was rescued from the sinking of H.M.S. Formidable.3 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1

     Mary Zillah Ramsden was born on 26 February 1899.3 She married Commander Henry Duncan Simonds, son of Louis de Luze Simonds and Mary Elizabeth Turnbull, on 18 October 1927 at St. Mark, Audley Strret, Westminster, London, England.1,2 She died on 7 March 1986 at age 87.3
     From 18 October 1927, her married name became Simonds.1

     Thomas Audley de Luze Simonds was born on 30 November 1928 at Marylebone, London, England.2 He was the son of Commander Henry Duncan Simonds and Mary Zillah Ramsden.1 He married Mary Bernadette Neelands, daughter of Major Abraham Rupert Neelands and Kathleen Victoria Agnew, on 7 May 1957.1 He died on 4 June 2012 at age 83 at Ottery St. Mary, Devon, England.3,4
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Marines.4

     From 7 May 1957, her married name became Simonds.1

     Major Abraham Rupert Neelands was born on 26 August 1881 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.2 He was the son of James Adam Neelands and Jane Oliphant Butchart.2 He married Kathleen Victoria Agnew, daughter of Alexander Agnew and Rosina Mary Hunter, in 1919 at Hendon, London, England.2 He died on 19 October 1971 at age 90.2

     Mary Hope Mellor was born on 15 September 1887 at Paddington, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Francis Hamilton Mellor and Mabel Winifred Knowles.1,3 She married Gavin Turnbull Simonds, 1st and last Viscount Simonds, son of Louis de Luze Simonds and Mary Elizabeth Turnbull, on 28 March 1912.1 She died on 16 May 1973 at age 85 at Harrow on the Hill, London, England.2
     From 28 March 1912, her married name became Simonds.1 After her marriage, Mary Hope Mellor was styled as Baroness Simonds on 18 April 1944. After her marriage, Mary Hope Mellor was styled as Viscountess Simonds on 18 October 1954.

Sir John Mellor and Elizabeth Cooke Moseley.2 He married Mabel Winifred Knowles, daughter of William Knowles and Emma Letitia Paxton.3 He died on 26 April 1925 at age 70 at Paris, France.2
