     John Leask Warrander was born on 23 October 1906.2 He was the son of J. L. Warrander.2 He married Beryl Gosling, daughter of O. W. Gosling, in 1933.2 He died on 8 November 1983 at age 77 at Bromley Rugeley, Staffordshire, England.2
     He was Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Power between 1953 and 1966.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)2 He lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1
