     He was with the Honourable East India Company Service.1

     Reverend William Vansittart was born on 30 November 1779.1 He was the son of Colonel Arthur Vansittart and Hon. Anne Hanger.1 He married Charlotte Teresa Warde, daughter of General George Warde, on 11 February 1817.1 He died on 22 November 1847 at age 67.1
     He held the office of Prebendary of Carlisle.1 He was the Rector at Shottesbrook, Berkshire, England.1 He was the Rector in 1844 at White Waltham, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1 He lived at Driffield, Yorkshire, England.1

     Charlotte Teresa Warde was the daughter of General George Warde.1 She married Reverend William Vansittart, son of Colonel Arthur Vansittart and Hon. Anne Hanger, on 11 February 1817.1 She died on 2 August 1858.1
      From 11 February 1817, her married name became Vansittart.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Regiment of Foot.1 He lived at Coolbawn, Castleconnell, County Limerick, Ireland.1

      From before 1857, her married name became Osborne.1 From 2 September 1857, her married name became Vansittart.1
