     Sir John William Honywood, 8th Bt. was born on 15 April 1857.1 He was the son of Sir Courtenay Honywood, 7th Bt. and Annie Maria Paynter.2 He married Zaidée Emily Iseulte Bodychan-Sparrow, daughter of John Bodychan Bodychan-Sparrow, on 22 August 1877.1 He died on 17 June 1907 at age 50.1
     He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Honywood, of Evington, co. Kent [E., 1660] on 17 April 1878.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 2nd Derbyshire Militia.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Engineers Kent Yeomanry.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.1
