     Robert Vere O'Brien was born on 20 October 1842.1 He was the son of Hon. Robert O'Brien and Elinor Jane Alicia Lucy de Vere.2 He married Florence Mary Arnold-Forster, daughter of William Delafield Arnold and Frances Ann Hodgson, on 10 July 1883.1 He died on 30 May 1913 at age 70.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Clare.1 He lived at Ballyalla, Ennis, County Limerick, Ireland.1 He lived at Monare, Foynes, County Limerick, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.1

     William Delafield Arnold was born on 7 April 1828 at Rugby, Warwickshire, England.2 He was the son of Dr. Thomas Arnold and Mary Penrose.3 He was baptised on 26 September 1831 at St. Leonard's, Bilston, Staffordshire, England.4 He married Frances Ann Hodgson, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Anthony Hodgson and Matilda Emily Ann Harriott Norris, on 3 April 1850 at Lahore, Pakistan.2 He died in 1859.3
     He was Director of Public Instruction, Punjab.1

     Florence Mary Arnold-Forster was born in 1853 at Dawlish, Devon, England.2 She was the daughter of William Delafield Arnold and Frances Ann Hodgson.3,4 She married Robert Vere O'Brien, son of Hon. Robert O'Brien and Elinor Jane Alicia Lucy de Vere, on 10 July 1883.1 She died on 8 July 1936.1
     She was adopted by an unknown person in 1859.1 In 1878 her name was legally changed to Florence Mary Arnold-Forster by Deed Poll.4 From 10 July 1883, her married name became O'Brien.

     Hugh Murrough Vere O'Brien was born on 15 July 1887.1 He was the son of Robert Vere O'Brien and Florence Mary Arnold-Forster.2 He married Margaret Ernestine O'Brien, daughter of Edward William O'Brien and Julia Mary Marshall, on 20 July 1915.2 He died on 31 May 1955 at age 67.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Munster Fusiliers.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He lived at Monare, Foynes, County Limerick, Ireland.1
