     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 79th Regiment.¹ He lived at Tannach, Caithness, Scotland.¹

     Magdalen Manson married Peter Innes, son of William Innes and Janet Sinclair, on 17 April 1822.¹
      From 17 April 1822, her married name became Innes.

     Robert Innes was born legitimated in 1822 on 1 March 1804.¹ He was the son of Peter Innes and Magdalen Manson.² He married, firstly, Margaret Calder.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Macdonald.¹
     He lived at Hayfield of Olrig, Scotland.¹
