Sir Alexander Innes, 3rd of Coxton was born circa 1615.1 He was the son of James Innes of Coxton, younger and Marjory Innes.2 He married, firstly, Mary Gordon, daughter of Sir George Gordon, 6th of Gight and Isobel Ward.1 He married, secondly, Mary Mackenzie, daughter of Alexander Mackenzie and Christian Munro, in March 1649.3 He died after 12 September 1677, without issue.1

Sir George Innes of Coxton, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Alexander Innes of Coxton, 1st Bt. and Jean Rollo.2 He married Jean Gordon, daughter of John Gordon of Rothiemay and Elizabeth Barclay, Lady of Towie, on 10 January 1706.1 He died circa December 1715.1
He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Innes, of Coxton, co. Moray [N.S., 1686] on 28 January 1709.1 He fought in the Jacobite Uprising in 1715.1
