     Captain Herbert William Clarke was the son of William Edward Thompson Clarke.2 He married Norah Frances Mather-Jackson, daughter of Sir Henry Mather-Jackson, 3rd Bt. and Ada Frances Somerset, on 4 December 1916.1 He died on 26 February 1958.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Engineers (SR).1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).1

     Air Marshal Sir Lawrence Darvall was born on 24 November 1898.1 He was the son of unknown Darvall.2 He married Alleen Mahony, daughter of E. Mahony, in 1923.1 He died on 17 November 1968 at age 69.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Green Howards.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.)
