     William Johnston was born on 16 April 1843.1 He was the son of Robert Johnston and Mary Hadden.2 He married Charlotte Arnotts, daughter of James Arnotts, in 1882.1 He died on 26 December 1914 at age 71, without issue.1
     He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).1 He graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Army Medical Service.1

Sir George Johnston of Caskieben, 10th Bt.1

     Sir George Johnston of Caskieben, 10th Bt. was born on 21 April 1849.1 He was the son of Robert Johnston and Mary Hadden.2 He married Agnes Elizabeth Sparkes, daughter of Reverend Richard John Sparkes, on 15 November 1876.1 He died on 11 May 1921 at age 72, without issue.1
     He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Johnston, of Caskieben [N.S., 1626] on 22 November 1917.1
