     James Arnotts was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.).¹ He lived at Leithfield, Kincardineshire, Scotland.¹

     Sir George Johnston of Caskieben, 10th Bt. was born on 21 April 1849.¹ He was the son of Robert Johnston and Mary Hadden.² He married Agnes Elizabeth Sparkes, daughter of Reverend Richard John Sparkes, on 15 November 1876.¹ He died on 11 May 1921 at age 72, without issue.¹
     He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Johnston, of Caskieben [N.S., 1626] on 22 November 1917.¹

     Reverend Richard John Sparkes was Rector at Alford, Surrey, England.¹
