     Charlotte Johnstone was born on 2 January 1782.1 She was the daughter of Charles John Johnstone and Mary Beddoe.2 She married Admiral Sir Henry Charles Knowles, 2nd Bt., son of Admiral Sir Charles Knowles, 1st Bt. and Maria Magdalena Theresa de Bouget, on 10 September 1800.1 She died on 9 June 1867 at age 85.2
     From 10 September 1800, her married name became Knowles.

Admiral Sir Henry Charles Knowles, 2nd Bt.1

     Admiral Sir Henry Charles Knowles, 2nd Bt. was born on 24 August 1754.2 He was the son of Admiral Sir Charles Knowles, 1st Bt. and Maria Magdalena Theresa de Bouget.2 He married Charlotte Johnstone, daughter of Charles John Johnstone and Mary Beddoe, on 10 September 1800.1 He died on 28 November 1831 at age 77.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Knowles, of Lovell Hill, Berkshire [G.B., 1765] on 9 December 1777.1 He fought in the Battle of Cape St Vincent in 1797.2 He gained the rank of Admiral of the Red.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)2

     Jane Johnstone was born on 11 July 1790.1 She was the daughter of Charles John Johnstone and Mary Beddoe.2 She married Venerable Philip Jennings on 30 November 1815.1 She died on 27 December 1883 at age 93.1
     From 30 November 1815, her married name became Jennings.

Venerable Philip Jennings1

     Lt.-Col. Sir James Johnstone of Westerhall, 4th Bt. was born on 23 January 1726.1 He was the son of Sir James Johnstone of Westerhall, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Barbara Murray.2 He married Louisa Maria Elizabeth Colclough, daughter of Reverend unknown Colclough and unknown daughter Montgomery, circa 4 July 1759.1 He died on 3 September 1794 at age 68, without issue.1
     He unsuccessfully claimed the Marquessate of Annandale.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Johnstone, of Westerhall [N.S., 1700] on 10 December 1772.1
