     Sir Derrick Edward de Vere Kennedy, 6th Bt. was born on 5 June 1904.1 He was the son of George Edward de Vere Kennedy and Julia Ellen Beatrice Carden.2 He married Phyllis Victoria Levine Fowler, daughter of Gordon Fowler, on 10 April 1926.1 He and Phyllis Victoria Levine Fowler were divorced in 1945.1 He married Barbara Mary Worthing Shepherd, daughter of William Shepherd, on 2 June 1945.1 He died on 27 June 1976 at age 72.1
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.1 He was educated at Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was a tea planter at Sri Lanka.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Ulster Rifles.1 He was a hotelier between 1947 and 1966 at Ireland.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Kennedy, of Johnstown Kennedy, co.      Sir George Ronald Derrick Kennedy, 7th Bt. was born on 19 November 1927.1 He was the son of Sir Derrick Edward de Vere Kennedy, 6th Bt. and Phyllis Victoria Levine Fowler.2 He married Noelle Mona Green, daughter of Charles Henry Green, on 12 November 1949.1 He died in 1988.1
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.1 He was commissioned in 1947, in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1975.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Kennedy, of Johnstown Kennedy, co. Dublin [U.K., 1836] on 27 June 1976.1 He retired from the military in 1979, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1
