     Thomas Pemberton-Leigh was born on 11 February 1793.¹ He was the son of Robert Pemberton and Margaret Leigh.² He died on 7 October 1867 at age 74, when the Barony expired unmarried.¹

(C) Rye 1831–32 and Ripon 1835–43, Attorney General to HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES 1841–43, Chllr Duchy Cornwall 1843–61 Inn 1816.¹ He lived Kingsdown.¹ He was County Kent (UK).¹ 1st and last BARON KINGSDOWN.¹ After inheriting a life interest in the Wigan estates of Sir Robert Leigh.¹ Worth c £17,000 (nearly £730,000 in early-2000s terms) p.a.).¹ He was King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1829.¹ He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1843.¹ On 28 August 1858 so created.¹

     Edward Leigh Pemberton was born on 18 February 1795.¹ He was the son of Robert Pemberton and Margaret Leigh.² He married Charlotte Cox, daughter of Samuel Compton Cox, on 23 December 1820.¹ He died on 12 March 1877 at age 82, with other issue:.¹

     Norah Edith Pemberton was born in 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Leigh Pemberton and Edith Selina Murray.¹ She married, firstly, William Philip Baldock in 1912.¹ She married, secondly, Herbert Chalcraft in 1928.¹ She died in 1961.¹
      From 1912, her married name became Baldock.¹ From 1928, her married name became Chalcraft.¹

     William Philip Baldock was born in 1886.¹ He married Norah Edith Pemberton, daughter of Robert Leigh Pemberton and Edith Selina Murray, in 1912.¹ He died in 1915 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹

     John Markham Baldock was born in 1915.¹ He is the son of William Philip Baldock and Norah Edith Pemberton.¹ He married Pauline Ruth Gauntlett in 1949.¹

     Pauline Ruth Gauntlett married John Markham Baldock, son of William Philip Baldock and Norah Edith Pemberton, in 1949.¹
      From 1949, her married name became Baldock.¹
