      There are grounds for doubting this account, not least because no such brother of FitzHa(i)mo(n) is mentioned in the chief sources for that era.1 Richard fitz Hamon de Grenville was said to have m Isabel, dau of Walter Giffard, Earl of Buckingham, and to have had the following issue.1 And helped his elder brother conquer Glamorgan.1 Who allegedly moved after the Norman Conquest to England.1 Where he was granted lands in Devon and Cornwall.1
