     John Conwy was born circa 1435.1 He was the son of Jenkin Conwy and Marsli ferch Maredudd.2 He married, firstly, Alice Minshall.1 He married, secondly, Jonet Stanley, daughter of Edmund Stanley.1 He died on 9 September 1486.1
     He was also known as Siôn aer hen.1

     Sir Hugh Conwy was born circa 1453.1 He was the son of John Conwy and Alice Minshall.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Courtenay, daughter of Thomas Courtenay, 5th Earl of Devon and Lady Margaret Beaufort.3 He married, secondly, Joice (?)1 He died between 12 March 1517 and 23 May 1518.1
     He was Esquire of the Body.1 He held the office of Keeper of the Great Wardrobe in 1485.1 He held the office of Treasurer of Ireland in 1494.1 He held the office of Treasurer of Calais in 1504.1
