     Caroline Fountaine was the daughter of Andrew Fountaine.2 She married Sir John Bennet Lawes, 1st Bt., son of John Bennet Lawes and Marianne Sherman, on 28 December 1842.1 She died on 29 November 1895.1
      From 28 December 1842, her married name became Lawes.

Sir Charles Bennet Lawes-Wittewronge, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Charles Bennet Lawes-Wittewronge, 2nd Bt. was born on 3 October 1843.1 He was the son of Sir John Bennet Lawes, 1st Bt. and Caroline Fountaine.2 He married Marie Amelie Rose Fountaine, daughter of Charles George Fountaine, on 8 April 1869.1 He died on 6 October 1911 at age 68.1
     He was given the name of Charles Bennet Lawes at birth.1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).1 He was a sculptor.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Lawes, of Rothamsted, co. Hertford [U.K., 1882] on 31 August 1900.1 On 18 April 1902 Sir Charles Bennet Lawes-Wittewronge, 2nd Bt. title's name changed to Charles Bennet Lawes-Wittewronge by Royal Licence.1

     Caroline Lawes was the daughter of Sir John Bennet Lawes, 1st Bt. and Caroline Fountaine.2 She married Walter Pennington Creyke, son of Venerable Stephen Creyke and Sarah Hotham, on 25 August 1870.1 She died on 8 September 1946.1
      From 25 August 1870, her married name became Creyke.

     Walter Pennington Creyke was baptised on 18 October 1828 at St. Michael-le-Belfry, York, Yorkshire, England.2 He was the son of Venerable Stephen Creyke and Sarah Hotham.3,2 He married Caroline Lawes, daughter of Sir John Bennet Lawes, 1st Bt. and Caroline Fountaine, on 25 August 1870.1 He died on 21 January 1892 at age 63.1
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).2

     Marie Amelie Rose Fountaine was born in 1849 at London, England.2 She was the daughter of Charles George Fountaine.3 She married Sir Charles Bennet Lawes-Wittewronge, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Bennet Lawes, 1st Bt. and Caroline Fountaine, on 8 April 1869.1 She died on 13 August 1928.1
      Marie Amelie Rose Fountaine usually went by her middle name of Amy.1 From 8 April 1869, her married name became Lawes.1 From 18 April 1902, her married name became Lawes-Wittewronge.

     He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Lawes, of Rothamsted, co. Hertford [U.K., 1882] on 6 October 1911.1
