Elizabeth Messenger1

     Elizabeth Messenger is the daughter of William Messenger.2 She married Nicholas Wogan.1 She married Thomas Tancred, son of Sir William Tancred, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Wilde, in 1712.1
      Married 1st William Ingleby.1 With other issue (including a daughter Henrietta Maria.1 She lived Rathcoffy) an only surviving son.1 She lived Raventofts.1 Her married name became Wogan. Her married name became Tancred. She lived Fountains Abbey.1 She was Yorkshire.1 On 27 August 1744 and was buried.1 On 21 December 1753 buried.1

     Sir Thomas Tancred was the son of Thomas Tancred and Elizabeth Messenger.2 He married Judith Dalton, daughter of Peter Dalton, in 1740.1 He died on 30 May 1759, with other issue, including two younger sons (William.1
     He was Charles, in the Army) and a daughter (Barbara, married Thomas Taylor, of Cornay, County Durham.1 He was also known as 4th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 On 21 March 1817 died ).1

     Sir Thomas Tancred was the son of Sir Thomas Tancred and Judith Dalton.2 He married Penelope Smith, daughter of Thomas Assheton Smith, on 7 October 1776.1 He died on 3 August 1784, with a younger son (William, RN, died West Indies 1799):.1
      Barrister.1 He was Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.).1 He was also known as 5th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1

     Sir Thomas Tancred was born on 24 July 1780.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Tancred and Penelope Smith.2 He married Harriet Lucy Crewe, daughter of Reverend Offley Crewe, on 25 April 1805.1 He died on 29 August 1844 at age 64.1
     He was also known as 6th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1
