     Gladys Mary Benn also went by the nick-name of Dulcie.¹ Her married name became Boyle.

     Her married name became Sackville Hamilton. She lived in 2003 at Acklam Grange, Malton, Yorkshire, England.²

     Lt.-Col. James Berkeley Sackville Hamilton was born on 28 May 1923.¹ He is the son of Colonel Sackville William Sackville Hamilton and Margaret Dowell Hester.¹ He married Mary Grizel Boyle, daughter of Colonel Cecil Alexander Boyle and Gladys Mary Benn, on 10 December 1947.¹
     Lt.-Col. James Berkeley Sackville Hamilton was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1943 and 1945, with the QVO Madras Sappers and Miners in India, Burma and Malaya, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.¹ He lived in 2003 at Ackham Grange, Malton, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Colonel Sackville William Sackville Hamilton was born on 3 November 1882.¹ He was the son of Sackville Berkeley Hamilton and Eva Maria Eleanor Benson.¹ He married Margaret Dowell Hester, daughter of Samuel Charles Hester, on 18 March 1920.¹ He died on 11 May 1956 at age 73.¹
     Colonel Sackville William Sackville Hamilton was director of the Survey of India.¹ He was Assistant Superintendent, Survey of India between 1906 and 1912.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.¹ He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.¹ He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)      Margaret Dowell Hester is the daughter of Samuel Charles Hester.¹ She married Colonel Sackville William Sackville Hamilton, son of Sackville Berkeley Hamilton and Eva Maria Eleanor Benson, on 18 March 1920.¹ She died in 1993.¹
     From 18 March 1920, her married name became Hamilton.¹
