     Edmund Lechmere was born on 4 April 1710.1 He was the son of Anthony Lechmere and Anne Foley.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Charlton, daughter of Sir Blunden Charlton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Foley, on 12 October 1732.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Whitmore, daughter of Reverend John Whitmore, on 4 June 1765.1 He died in April 1805.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Worcester in 1734.1 He lived at Severn End, England.1

Sir Nicholas Charlton-Lechmere1

     Sir Nicholas Charlton-Lechmere was born on 18 December 1733.1 He was the son of Edmund Lechmere and Elizabeth Charlton.2 He married Susannah Case, daughter of Jesson Case.1 He died in 1807.1
     He was given the name of Nicholas Lechmere at birth.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Worcestershire Militia.1 Circa 1784 his name was legally changed to Nicholas Charlton-Lechmere on inheriting the estates of his uncle, Sir Francis Charlton, 4th Bt.1 He lived at Hanley Castle, Worcestershire, England.3 He lived at Ludford, Shropshire, England.1
