     William Eden Lees was born on 5 August 1784.1 He was the son of Sir John Lees, 1st Bt. and Mary Cathcart.2 He married Sophia Cornelia Helden in 1810.1 He died on 24 December 1856 at age 72, with four daughters:.1

     She lived Ballinlough.1 She was County Longford.1 She was daughter and coheir of Major-General Cornelius Helden.1 Her married name became Lees.
