     Ada Mary Susan Leslie was the daughter of Sir Norman Robert Leslie, 6th Bt. and Jessie Elizabeth Smith.2 She married, firstly, Henry Grantley on 22 April 1868 at St. Stephens, Paddington, London, England.3 She married, secondly, Colonel John Arthur Barlow on 30 March 1872 at Bangalore, India.1,4 She died on 27 June 1889.1
     From 22 April 1868, her married name became Grantley.3 From 30 March 1872, her married name became Barlow.

     Colonel John Arthur Barlow was born on 7 December 1845 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He married, firstly, Ada Mary Susan Leslie, daughter of Sir Norman Robert Leslie, 6th Bt. and Jessie Elizabeth Smith, on 30 March 1872 at Bangalore, India.1,2 He married, secondly, Hilda Emmeline Harris in 1891 at Simla, India.2 He died on 25 March 1929 at age 83 at South Drive, Wokingham, Berkshire, England.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Manchester Regiment.1
