Sir Thomas Lighton, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Thomas Lighton, 1st Bt. was the son of John Lighton and Elizabeth Walker.2 He married Anne Pollock, daughter of William Pollock, on 11 December 1777.1 He died on 27 April 1805, with other issue:.1
     He was County Dublin.1 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.).1 He lived Merville.1 He was High Sheriff County Dublin in 1790.1 He was created 1st Baronet Lighton [Ireland] on 1 March 1791.1

     She was County Tyrone.1 She lived Strabane.1 Her married name became Lighton.

     Sir Thomas Lighton, 2nd Bt. was born on 19 May 1787.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Lighton, 1st Bt. and Anne Pollock.2 He married Sylvia Brandon, daughter of John Brandon, on 14 December 1811.1 He died on 11 May 1816 at age 28.1
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Lighton.1

     Reverend Sir John Lighton, 4th Bt. was born on 1 January 1792.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Lighton, 1st Bt. and Anne Pollock.2 He married Mary Hamilton Pemberton, daughter of Christopher Robert Pemberton, on 23 January 1817.1 He died on 5 April 1827 at age 35, with other issue:.1
     He was Rector Donoughmore, County Donegal.1 See ABERCORN, D), of Newton, Cambs, by Eleanora, daughter of James Hamilton, of Woodbrooke, Strabane, by Eleanor, sister of 1st Earl Castle Stewart (qv).1 He gained the title of 4th Baronet Lighton.1
