     Doris Frew Campbell was born in 1901 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.2 She was the daughter of David Carlyle Campbell and Jane (?)3,2 She married, firstly, William Edwards Woodeson in 1926 at Tynemouth, Northumberland, England.1,2 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas George Bishop McAlpine, 4th Bt., son of William Hepburn McAlpine and Margaret Donnison Bishop, on 29 March 1934.1 She died on 27 June 1964.1
     From 1926, her married name became Woodeson.1 From 29 March 1934, her married name became McAlpine.
